Step 1 of 3: your route
Free, no obligation.
Closing dates slip, leases overlap badly, and sometimes the new place is not ready. When there is a gap, storage can be arranged as part of the move and included in the written estimate, so the whole plan sits in one document. Tell us how long you expect to need it.
What is included
- Storage for the period you choose, set out in the estimate
- Delivery timing to your new address, set out in the estimate
- An inventory of what you ask to put into storage
- Coverage on every move, with optional extra moving insurance
- A clear note of anything that could change the plan, such as a longer stay
How it works
- Tell us your pickup date, your delivery date if you know it, and roughly how long you need storage.
- List what is going in, so the inventory matches the estimate.
- Read the written estimate, which shows storage alongside the move.
- Update your consultant if dates shift, since the plan can be revised in writing.
FAQ
Storage questions
When does storage make sense?
Whenever your move out and move in are on different days: a delayed closing, a renovation, a short-term rental in between or a trip abroad.
How long can my things stay?
That is something you decide up front and put in the request. If the timeline stretches, tell your consultant and ask for a revised estimate.
Can I get at my belongings while they are stored?
Ask about it when you request the estimate. Access terms depend on the arrangement, and your consultant will confirm them before you agree.
Is stored property protected?
Coverage comes with every move, and you can add optional moving insurance. Ask our support team how both apply while your things wait.
